Letter from Kyle
I am part of the PFA program at Saint Hilary school. PFA stands for Pencils for Africa, which is an educational program at my school that works to change the narrative of Africa by teaching about it’s culture and people. I can’t wait to get to know you and write to you.
My name is Kyle and I am a 7th grader in middle school.
I am 12 years old and I have an older sister named Shannon who is 15. I live in California and bike to school every day.
Do you have any brothers or sisters? How do you get to school?
I play many sports like basketball and baseball. I have a school team for basketball on which I play with my friends. I play baseball outside of school as well. I do enjoy other sports but don’t really compete in them. Do you play any sports?
When I grow up I want to either be a lawyer, design video games or be a professional biker.
Who knows though, I may be interested in other things when I get older. I can’t wait to hear what you want to do when you grow up.
In school, I like to think of myself as a good student. I take mostly the basic subjects like math, science, literature, grammar, spelling, vocabulary and art. At home I have a tutor for learning to speak Spanish. My favorites are probably science, literature and art.
What are your favorite subjects? I can’t wait to hear about your life.
